CV TEMPLATES FROM TOP EMPLOYEES
TEMPLATE 1: Simple, Quick and Effective
If you don’t want to spend hours and hours messing around with tables, fonts and formatting in MS Word – use this template. It is very simple and effective.
It is based on the format used by most executives from the top business school in Europe – London Business School. It also goes to show that a good CV is all about the content and how the major selling points stand out, rather than fancy formatting. To see why it should be on one page only, read A One Page CV – Are You Serious?!
TEMPLATE 2: Stylish and Results Focussed
If you are used to playing around with formatting and tables in MS Word then you can use this template instead.
It splits out the work experience into three sections: responsibilities, methods and achievements. This can be really useful to help you focus on getting these important elements in place. For more explanation of this approach, read How Should I Present My Experience?
These templates can be a bit confusing if you aren’t familiar with our approach to CV writing. Once you’ve read the articles below should be up to speed though.

TIP:
Playing with the formatting in MS Word can be very frustrating. Using the “format painter” buttonĀ to copy the format from one part of our template to another part that you’ve written should take a lot of the pain away. If you have the cursor on a particular piece of text and you click on the format painter button, the next piece of text you click on inherits the format from the first piece of text.
